  • Overview

    The Deployment Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a viable bench of deployable personnel in support of a large government contract while ensuring that all deployment processes and policies are aligned/in compliance with contractual and company's standards and authorization. Uses judgment to develop and clarify expectations, scope and scale to achieve staffing and operational objectives and minimize down-posts.


    • Manages and prioritizes deployment plans, timelines, and tasks and communicates status to all stakeholders to ensure full staffing objectives are met and down-postings mitigated; works closely with the leadership team to identify the types of resources needed; maintains and updates all deployment-related procedures and guidelines.
    • Responsible for managing Personnel life-cycle status change process in program management database to include all ESF approvals/rejections and guidance to internal PM and in country teams on ESF processing inquiries; processes new hire deployment offer letters and separation notifications.
    • Briefs and provides reports to program management on deployment management activities. Fosters transparency and feedback by raising deployment impediments and by presenting information using appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Acts as an internal POC for PM, in-country management teams and travel vendors for all deployment related issues; provides rotation/deployment plan management and guidance to in country teams.
    • Monitors and ensures that regular communication is maintained between the Process Owners and deployable personnel (including bench) to include mass correspondence, status check updates, travel arrangements, etc. 
    • Oversees the collection and maintenance of all relevant vetting records in the program management database to include passports, letters of authorization, visa processing and travel related information for all personnel deploying and working on the program; other duties as assigned.

    • Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage several concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders.
    • BA or BS college degree
    • 5+ years of experience in Deployment or Asset Management
    • Current Active Secret Clearance preferred
