  • Overview

    The Technical Support Assistant position reports to the ESS Program Manager and supports the entire Technology Division, as needed. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties: purchase requisition preparation/requests, inventory control, lifecycle management, work package creation, overseeing the records inventory and Disposition System, document revision control, vehicle maintenance tracking, personnel training records tracking/scheduling, and general administrative duties.

    Responsibilities

    • Management of the tracking and scheduling for vehicle maintenance and training for Technology deparatment personnel.
    • Responsible for the inventory and document revision control, through use of the records inventory and disposition system.
    • Leads the life cycle management and purchase requisition preparation/work requests.
    • General adminsitrative duties
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • A general understanding of electronics and Maximo
    • Excellent Oral and Written Communications
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Intermediate-level computer skills that include all the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Excellent Time Management and the ability to Prioritize Work
    • Associates Degree in a Technical or Business related field preferred
    • 3 to 5 years of related experience
    • Valid US Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Nevada Driver’s License
    • Able to obtain and maintain DOE “Q” clearance authorization
