Responsibilities

  • Assists the Operations Manager in providing leadership, management, and direction for task order security personnel. 
  • Manages all aspects of planning, scheduling, organizing, and assessing performance of assigned security personnel. 
  • Ensures that all task order security personnel abide by the contract mandated standards of conduct.
  • On a short-term basis may assume the on-site role and responsibilities of the Operations Manager in an acting capacity. 

Qualifications

  • Must be a US citizen. 
  • Obtain and maintain a personnel security clearance.
  • Must possess either: 
    • A Master’s degree from an accredited institution and four (4) years of applicable work experience 
      • A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force. 
      • A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been protective security experience on an applicable contract.
      • A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and seven (7) years of applicable work experience 
      • A minimum of five (5) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force.
      • A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been protective security experience on an applicable contract.
      • A minimum of two (2) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience.
    • An Associate’s degree from an accredited institution and ten (10) years of applicable work experience. 
      • A minimum of seven (7) years of this experience must have been work in planning, evaluating, analyzing, and implementing government security-type programs, specifically personal protection, emergency response team, or guard force. 
      • A minimum of one (1) year of this experience must have been protective security experience on an applicable contract.
      • A minimum of three (3) years of this experience must have been supervisory experience. 
  • Experience may be gained in the employ of any national, state, provincial, local, or commercial entities providing armed high threat protective services.
