Security Police Officer III (SRT) Lieutenant - Advanced Readiness

SOC is recruiting for a SPO III (SRT) Lieutenant - Advanced Readiness for the NNSS Protective Force Contract in Nevada.
Supervises the activities, responsibilities, projects and tasks of the SPO I and SPO III personnel to include evaluating performance.
Deploys personnel during responses and execution of contingency plans.
Provides administrative oversight by reviewing and verifying reports, logs, and forms for accuracy.
Interprets policies and regulations and instructs subordinates.
Provides daily operational support to the Area Command Lieutenant, participating and assisting in the management of the daily business and department operations.
Conducts investigations on security or personnel issues. Interprets policies and regulations and instructs subordinates.
Knowledge of all NNSS site security procedures and policies to include extensive knowledge of the Security Incident Response Plan. Must have knowledge, skills and abilities to perform tactical entry methods and tactics, and proper use and deployment of TES equipment as well as specialized SRT equipment and weapons.
Federal and State Laws and Regulations, Department of Energy (DOE) Orders, Manuals, Guides, and Standards NNSS/NNSA and SOC policies, procedures, and orders as they relate to Protective Force services, Classified Matter, and Operations Security.
Supervisory skills to include planning, organizing, scheduling, team building, problem solving, conflict resolution, and directing activities of section employees, conducting performance appraisals and inquiries that address employee performance.
Intermediate-level computer skills that include all the Microsoft Office Suite of software.
Meet 10 CFR 1046 Advanced Readiness security police officer requirements, to include: mental alertness and reliable judgment.
High School Diploma
A minimum of three (4) years PF or similar law enforcement/military experience is required, with at least four (4) years in a supervisory capacity.
Employee must have a DOE SPO III certification. Successful participation in the Human Reliability Program (HRP), SOC Nevada Basic Supervisor certification
Valid US Driver’s License and be able to obtain a Nevada Driver’s License
